Landon is having his tonsils removed today. I am not an over-reactor-about-medical-things kind of mommy. However, sending your child off with a nurse to get surgery is quite nerve wracking. Especially as he is being SO very brave. How can we protect him like God wants me to while he is back there? I can't. God wants us to trust Landon to His care and be patient. I can do that.

Loose teeth
Oh my... Landon has three loose teeth. All at once! He has this idea that he is going to lose the first one at school, where, upon losing this said tooth, he will be directed to the principals office to get a little treasure box to place his tooth in. I can hardly believe it. I remember when I first noticed the little tooth. He was 5 months and three days old. I was so excited! We were at Josh's baseball practice and it was a cloudy and chilly day in England. Two by two the teeth came in. I wonder if that's how they will be replaced by "parent teeth".
So... In reality, Landon lost tooth number one the Saturday before our recent trip to Great Wolf lodge. Eating cereal and it just popped out! The tooth fairy brought him a $5 and he wasn't quite asleep. So naturally he assumed it was Joshua. He's a sneaky one. Tooth number 2 came out yesterday. I had to pluck it out because he had a little hanger and it wouldn't just fall out. He didn't mind it so much. Aiden on the other hand, is terrified of the Tooth Fairy. He made me write a note that he has on the wall. It says, "Tooth fairy. Do not come in my room. " Little boys with big imaginations. Aiden thinks the T.F. Is going to steal his teeth right out of his head. Poor guy.
