Happy New Year!

Well, here we are.

2012.

We had better enjoy it because aparently the Mayan Indians predicted this would be the end of the world...dang. This year is going to be rough. Josh will be leaving in aproximately 105 days, or 3 months and 14 days, or 15 weeks, or 75 weekdays. I am not looking forward to this... the boys are older now and will most definitely know what is going on. If I am the glue of our house then Josh is the drywall, 2x4's, nails, shims, loadbearing walls, and all the other things a house is made of. I somehow got asked to co-lead a bible study this next 9 weeks. I am really excited for this, however, leading makes you more accountable and God fully expects me to teach these women the correct way. This is daunting for me.

On Friday Dec 30, Landon asked Jesus to be the Lord of his life. THAT WAS SO AWESOME! For me to be the one he prayed with and to see his excitement. This is also daunting for me. Our responsibilities just grew by a bit more, not in a bad way but in a way that requires us to be more accountable for our own actions and what we say. He sees and hears everything even though most of the time we question whether or not his brain is actually attached. We have today only to make the most of our time. Yesterday doesn't exist anymore, tomorrow doesn't exist at all, and today is the only day actually promised to us.
